Still looking for details on this event. All we know at present is that Diana Daniels, Executive director of the National Council on Educating Black Children, is the keynote and Rep. Crawford is the main sponsor. Anyone know more?

"EDUCATION SUMMIT SCHEDULED FOR JANUARY 9
INDIANAPOLIS–Several of Indiana’s educational leaders will gather at the Julian D. Coleman
Academy at 1740 E. 30th St. in Indianapolis for an Education Summit designed to explore
solutions to challenges facing students, parents and schools in the state.
The Indiana Black Legislative Caucus (IBLC) is co-sponsoring the event, which is one of five
Community Revitalization Summits that began in August and will continue in 2010. The Education
Summit will be held Saturday, Jan. 9, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is free and the general
public is encouraged to attend. Registration begins and a continental breakfast will be served at 8:30. Snacks and lunch will be offered later in the day."
