Indiana Citizens for Public Education represents a collection of educators, parents, and community members deeply concerned about the state of public education in Indiana and the larger United States. We are pro-public education, anti-school privatization, pro-teacher, pro-democracy, and, at the core, invested in supporting good public schools that help all of our children.

Students Protest SB590
These students, some documented-some not, have done everything US society has asked of them and more. Attending were college students, secondary school students, legislators, business leaders, and other activist groups who see the need for united action against the Indiana legislative agenda.
many of these students were arrested on May 10th in a civil disobedience action. they've asked to meet with Governor Daniels and received no response (well...except arrest)
